In 1984 Duane Abarca and Greg Zarnoski opened an electronic repair station for high speed audio cassette duplicators in a small room on the second floor of the Fairview Park Shopping Center. Using the first letters of each of their last names, they called their new company A to Z Audio, Inc. When they approached the equipment manufacturers to inquire about becoming authorized repair centers, they were told that one of the requirements for qualification was retailing the duplicators themselves. Duane and Greg ran off some flyers, began contacting potential customers for the equipment, and saw their company grow to approximately one million dollars in sales by the mid 1990s. We met with Duane recently, and listened as he outlined A to Z Audio's services and offerings;

A to Z Audio, Inc. began by offering sales, repair, and service of high speed audio cassette duplicators. At the request of our customers, we began manufacturing cassettes in custom lengths, duplicating cassettes, and offering packaging services including labels, inserts, boxes, and shrink-wrapping. As business has shifted from audio cassettes to CD-Rs and DVDs, our focus changed to CD-R and DVD duplication and packaging for local musical bands and recording studios, in addition to corporate clients with business video needs.

We sell blank media, such as audio cassettes in standard and custom lengths, blank CD-Rs and DVDs, packaging, boxes, sleeves, and labels for the home enthusiast, and provide a full range of services for a variety of organizations. We do all of the packaging, typesetting, and artwork for our corporate customers in our shop, and pride ourselves on the individualized attention we give to each client's needs. We offer thermal imprinting and silk-screening of CDs and DVDs, black and white laser printing, black high resolution laser printing, four color laser printing, color offset printing for CD booklets and tray cards, and color offset printing for DVD covers and booklets. We offer mastering services, and transferals from any media to CD. Customers have brought us old reels, 78 recordings, and recordings on tin and paper that they've found in their attic and haven't heard since their childhood. We've taken a reel tape recording of a young girl singing and interlaced it with a popular tune that was played at her wedding reception during the father/daughter dance. I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the place.

We strive to lend a personal touch to any challenge. We have transferred many micro-cassette and digital recordings for law enforcement agencies and their representatives, removing clicks, buzzing, and other sounds that obstruct the actual audio they want to hear. If you have a recording that's difficult to understand, we are often able to clean it up and return it to you as a much clearer recording.
