Miclau, son of Theodore Miclau, one of the founders, joined the company in 1973 and has been responsible for daily operations for over thirty years. Daniel's daughter, Janene Miclau Kubit, has now become involved in the family business, and will be the third generation of her family dedicated to providing local residents with attractive, affordable options to their housing needs. 200 West Apartments is a ten story, multi-family complex of one and two bedroom suites. We offer five unique floor plans featuring a wide range of amenities. Family owned and operated since its inception, 200 West Apartments' 173 suites provide a comfortable living experience in a home-like atmosphere for an affordable price. The common areas of the building are smoke-free, and we are a pet-free building, also. In addition, we offer fully furnished corporate suites for short term rentals.
We offer 720 square foot one bedroom suites, and our two bedroom suites range from 980 to 1,075 square feet in size. Each suite is complete with an eat-in kitchen, new cabinets, an electric range with a self-cleaning oven, frost-free refrigerator, dishwasher, and disposal. Extra in-suite storage areas and a private patio or balcony are included in each unit. Our one year leases include heat, water, and one assigned garage space in our multi-level garage with each unit. Additional parking is available at the front and rear of the property, and there is a covered walkway between the building and the garage.
Our amenities include a beautiful party room, billiard room, indoor swimming pool and solarium, and a new, fully equipped fitness room. Our well-lit laundry room features new equipment and is centrally located for our residents' convenience. We're proud members of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association, and winner of two Golden Key Awards. We've received an award from Fairview Park Garden Club, in addition to being recognized by the city for our Christmas decorations. We constantly re-invest in the property, providing many upgrades and improvements throughout the years. Our project in 2006 is to replace both elevators with modern, state-of-the-art equipment.
